50 Starfotografen zeigen Ihre Vision
September 20-November 9, 2008
U.a. mit Miles Aldrige, Peter Lindbergh, Sheila Metzner, Bettina Rheims, Albert Watson.
David Drebin: "I see women from the inside out and rarely from the outside in … my photographs attempt to lure the viewer from the outside in to hopefully see women and beauty from the inside out. I like sexy with feeling and not just sexy … the moment before and the moment after the moment are for me...the ideal moments.“
Pamela Hanson: "I chose these images because they represent different aspects of beauty, the beauty of women of all ages and sizes, the beauty from within, the beauty wisdom in someone's face and smile, the beauty of nature, of seeing a moment and appreciating the simplicity of it, the beauty of the way the light hits someone's face. I am interested in and love life and find beauty in the simple and the obvious. My hope is that these images show that.“
Peter Lindbergh: "Following the refusal of the Bush Administration to sign the Kyoto Accord, the world will become a different place. It will be impossible, as it has been for hundreds of years, for women to show their beauty openly on the streets of the world's cities. Pollution will not allow them to go out without masks. But there will be a little window … which makes all the difference.“
Sheila Metzner: "Jacquetta is a model with great character. She's slightly androgynous and tomboyish while being totally feminine at the same time. She's chatty and part of the crew when working. She writes, photographs and founded a charity for women and street children called Darna in Tangier. I've cast her in many identities over the years and she is a fine actress fulfilling all roles. She's a great traveler, dinner pal and friend. Very modern.“
